We are long-standing members of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors and the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association.

Brown & Mason, formed in 1961, is one of the largest demolition, dismantling and asbestos removal companies in the UK with a turnover in excess of £15million and with proven capabilities of being able to work anywhere in the UK, to complete large projects, safely, competently and efficiently, to an agreed programme.

From initial enquiry, through to practical completion we aim to deliver a ‘one stop shop’ for clients’ every demolition requirement, delivering total project management through our team of experienced professionals.

Recognised accreditations

We are members of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors, the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association, and the Construction Industry Training Board and have certificated Quality Assurance to BS EN ISO 9002. We are recognised as an effective Investor in People.

Brown & Mason has been awarded the British Safety Council’s Sword of Honour for our Health & Safety Management Procedures and attained the maximum Five Star Awards both for our Health and Safety and Environmental Management Procedures. We are also accredited to BS EN ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System).

Additionally, we have been the recipients of Corporation of London Considerate Contractor Gold Awards including the Chairman’s Cup, the single and highest award achievable under the scheme. We have also received awards from the City of Westminster and other major organisations.

We have recently again been shortlisted finalists for the Contract Journal’s Demolition Contractor of the Year Award.

The Company undertakes all types of demolition and asbestos removal nationwide, and is the UK leader in domestic, commercial and City Centre demolition projects and attendant specialist façade retention and temporary works.

Heavy industrial demolition and dismantling

Added to this we have a wealth of experience in heavy industrial demolition and dismantling having successfully undertaken and completed numerous Power Station and other similar major contracts.
