This was a major city centre redevelopment project carried out in the heart of Birmingham, comprising demolition and asbestos removal of the Bull Ring Centre and extensive temporary works to the existing market area. This 38 week contract was carried out successfully with fast track demolition being completed 1 week ahead of programme.
Demolition facts
Concrete and brick/brick rubble account for 12% of all waste sent to landfill.
