This project comprised the demolition down to, but not including, the suspended ground floor slab of an existing 10 storey office building.

In addition to the demolition of the building itself, the contract included the removal of major items of mechanical and electrical plant at basement and other levels. The contract also included the removal and disposal of various forms of asbestos materials.

The methodology deployed on this contract took due cognisance of the fact that the London Underground Victoria Line passed at a depth of some 14 metres below ground level at the North west corner of the building.
