Quality Control

Brown & Mason initiated a Quality Control System in 1993 which was recently updated to the new Standard, ISO 9001:2000.

Our Quality Control Manager ensures that all members of the Brown & Mason team, both site and office based, understand their part in contributing to the set up and maintenance of good working practice and adherence to our Quality Plan.

Sub-contractors are advised of our Quality Plan and are selected from our Approved List which is prepared and maintained using strict pre-qualification procedures.

Our Quality Plan is also made known to new employees who are made fully aware of their role by way of induction and the accompanying written handouts.

Regular internal audits are undertaken by our Quality Control Manager. The audits in association with those of external bodies ensure that our quality standards are being maintained.

Quality Control facts

A quality control plan can be used to define the responsibilities, authority, organisational interactions and procedures that are necessary for the development of a product assurance program that is applicable to a project, entire organization or a subcontractor. A quality control plan definitely provides constancy of purpose.
